Wordless Wednesday—Cascade Springs
Our Sunday drives take us high into the Rocky Mountains.
"Peace. It does not mean to be in a place where there is no noise, touble, or hard work. It means to be in the midst of those things and still be calm in your heart."
But sometimes... leaving the world behind and finding our patch of green in this desert we live in brings along with it a certain stabilizing sort of serenity.

Oh my! THANKS so much for still being there after my nightmare of an August month! About 80% unpacked...that is... of the stuff I actually intend to unpack!
And Whahoo internet back up TODAY!
I see you are commenting on a bunch of my favorite blogs! How cool you are!
And I also see that you are ignoring the wordless wednesday rules too... I never did 'get' Wordless Wednesday? And the rest of the 'carnivals' seemed weird too? But I love your quote.

Wish I was there. The Rockies are my favorite place to visit!! My whole family heads out there every 2-3 years. I'm anxious to get back. My boys have been asking too.

Beautiful pix! I lived outside of Denver when I was still small and I can remember looking out across the prairie to the mountains in the west.

Beautiful photos. I'm still working out that whole 'peace inside' thing. :) Now I'm going to see if any of my cellulite is reduced by leaving this...

Oh, it's all so green! Everything here in our neck of the world is brown and dry. It practically shouts, "Give me water! Rain already!"
