Wordfuless Wednesday—How Does Your Garden Grow?
All we did was turn over the dirt and go on vacation. Apparently, that is all it takes to make this garden grow. Sunflowers, pumpkins, and tomatoes, oh! my! Happy Fall!
I'm participating in both the Wordless and the Wordful Wednesday groups, hence the name Wordfuless Wednesday. Join the Wordful Wednesday crowd by clicking on this button.

I am so excited for fall I could throw up!
Gardner Historic Village here we come!!!
September 10, 2008 at 12:02 AM
It's the fact that by "throw up" you really mean that you are excited! The translation comes over loud and clear, Cookie! (said sarcastically, of course ;))
Any news on Cold Play ticket prices? And yes! Gardener Historic Village is all ours when we get back from AZ! Talk about being so excited :).
September 10, 2008 at 12:18 AM

I wish that my garden grew that easily. I worked hard (I think), and all I have is shivelled up, strange coloure plants that don't bare any fruit. They are barel green actually. I don't get it. No green thumb here. But I can grow beautiful flowers! lol Great blog btw, I'll be adding you to my lst so I can come back and check it out. ;) Sex Diaries of a Mom

WELCOME FALL!!!!
September 10, 2008 at 8:18 AM
Gorgeous photos!
I know what you mean about the gardens growing...unfortunately for my dad, who has one, his is kind of dying right now in some areas. Doesn't help that my son has helped dig up onions that weren't ready to be dug up!
September 10, 2008 at 8:19 AM
so glad you have the green thumb...we are not so lucky here. no rain this summer at all...so everything is brown and shriveled up.
oh, and i expect you will post fun pumpkin pics later!!
September 10, 2008 at 8:32 AM

My sister called me last night and told me she emailed you. I am so excited you will be doing a feature on our steals and deals. I am looking forward to it!

I love the pictures! Sunflowers (along with daisies) are my favorite flowers, because they just seem so happy!;)
I love the fall....Sigh......
Thanks for stopping by my blog today.
Oh, and since I have managed to accumulate quite the large amount of cellulite on my thighs, I think I should return back several times a day to comment....After a year or two of heavy commenting, my thighs should be just about perfect.;)
God Bless,
Amy:)
September 10, 2008 at 10:20 PM
What a beautiful garden indeed!
September 10, 2008 at 10:28 PM
Thanks for coming by my blog. I appreciate your kind comments. I love the wordfuless Wednesday idea. I think I'll definitely do this one. I agree, it's hard not to say something.
Love your garden. I wish I could get stuff to grow like that in my yard. I just stopped at the nursery today and picked up some lovely fall colored flowers. Hopefully I'll get them into my planter tomorrow.
September 10, 2008 at 10:29 PM
PS really, commenting reduces cellulite? I love it. I may just go comment crazy now. :o)
September 11, 2008 at 12:11 AM
So fun to have a successful garden! We only had about 10 pear tomato plants survive the heat.
September 11, 2008 at 5:30 AM

thank you for visiting my site
September 11, 2008 at 8:19 AM
Oh, your garden is exuberant! We live in an apartment - I want a garden like this! (in whining voice!)
September 11, 2008 at 10:54 AM
Uh I'm so jealous! We planted pumpkins and watermelons and they all rotted. I guess I'll have to buy my own punkins this year. I think the weather down here was too hot for them. Oh and thanks for commenting on my blog =)
September 11, 2008 at 12:18 PM
Oh you have no idea what I would give for a garden full of fruit / vegetables / flowers. I'm so jealous. So very, very jealous!
September 11, 2008 at 3:27 PM
That's great! We can't manage to grow the plants we put in the ground sometimes!
September 11, 2008 at 9:20 PM
Just in time for Fall! It will be so much fun watching them grow!
September 11, 2008 at 10:17 PM
Nice.. sunny shots. I can just about feel the warmth of the sun radiating from them.
September 12, 2008 at 7:06 AM
I wish we would've planted pumpkins this year! and sunflowers for that matter! Maybe next year. Especially if there as easy to grow as planting and leaving! :)
September 12, 2008 at 7:19 AM
You are an amazing (lazy) gardner! {tee hee} Seriously, that is great. Love that pumpkin, and just in time! : )
p.s. cute pics of you and your boys down below...
p.p.s. I'm no good at "wordless" either. Guess I need to switch over to Wordful.
September 30, 2008 at 10:30 PM
nice pumpkin.
we have some kind of squash-y thing growing out of our compost bin, a lovely orange flower but not quite enough of anything to eat (or display proudly on the porch) yet.
